When we first came to vancouver in 2008 we were inspired by the beauty of the city, and the buzz of every day life.
What makes this city so particular? The beaches and the boats, the wildlife in the city, the traffic, the dogs (and their owners), markets and musicians, many cultures?
In the Spring and Summer of 2009 we went out around the city to capture a bit of it all, and put it together in this short film for you.

I meant to vote for the blink city video but I guess you got my vote on accident. Good video though and good luck.

Great Video! How'd you make everything look like it was in miniature?

Great video. Conceptually strong and coherent. Excellent music as well--really makes the piece.

I like the depth of field. At times, it looks like claymation. The photography is great. The music is good, but gets repetitive after about 30 seconds. You captured the ocean aspect of Vancouver nicely. As someone who lived in Vancouver 40 years and left and still visit, I also think the mountains are special, and the food and culture. And those have a tendency to attract people that also think so.
